About me

From the community to the hospital front door.

I'm a Consultant in Acute Internal Medicine and General Internal Medicine at St Mary's Hospital, London, part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. I care for adults who arrive unwell and need rapid assessment, a clear diagnosis and a safe plan.

I qualified as a medical doctor in 1998 and worked as a general practitioner abroad for many years. In 2016 I moved to the UK, completed structured postgraduate training in internal medicine, and finished my specialist training in acute internal medicine in April 2024.

Teaching is central to my work. I speak English and Persian.

"I think about patients as whole people, not single presentations."
